Join the Hiking Club for a classic North Shore hike to Quarry Rock Lookout, one of the most popular viewpoints overlooking Burrard Inlet and Deep Cove.
The trail follows part of the Baden Powell Trail, winding through lush coastal forest with wooden bridges, boardwalks, and gentle elevation gain before reaching the scenic lookout. The hike is 4 km out-and-back with about 201 m of elevation gain, making it a great moderate hike for a summer afternoon.
At the top, we’ll take a break to enjoy the views, so it’s recommended to bring a lunch to eat at the lookout.
After the hike, you can cool off in Deep Cove, walk along the waterfront, or stop by the famous Honey’s Doughnuts to earn back some of the calories burned on the trail.
