Kick off the year with a delicious twist on Hiking Club — the Richmond Dumpling Trail Food Walk! We’ll eat, walk, and explore as we travel by foot to some of Richmond’s most mouthwatering dumpling, noodle, and specialty spots.
This trail is mostly flat and city-based, making it a great option for all fitness levels. You’ll get to connect with friends, discover new bites, and enjoy a moderate 9.7 km loop while sampling flavors from around the world. You could also take transit or an e-scooter back to where we started.

Come hungry! Most restaurants offer dumpling portions of 8 per order. We will aim for 1-2 per person, per restaurant, depending on the number of people and the distance between restaurants. Budget $20-$30 for the day. There are various options for dumplings, but the default choice is Pork. If we have enough people, we could do an order of vegetable dumplings and an order of pork dumplings per restaurant.
